History
First met at 3118 W. Columbia Ave. The largest Orthodox cong in vicinity. Rabbi Ephraim Yolles headed the local organization of orthodox synagogues. 3 storey, gray brick Romanesque built in 1896 as church; remodeled as synagogue in 1914. Records held by Hyman Metzger (1938 N 32nd St).
