History
Combined with B'nai Halberstam in 1893
Cong of manual workers and small shopkeepers in 7th & Tasker area. Broke away from Anshe Zitomer. Adopted new name, Aitz Chaim, in 1930.
First held services in a disused church at New Market above Poplar.
Dedicated in 1872.
