History
Also founded cemetery of same name.
At NE corner 31st & Page. Noted for charitable work and study sessions (Mishnayos) each night. Zionist organizers (Mizrachi) in 1930s. Three storey red brick building built in 1896, remodeled in 1915. Additional building added in 1921. Records held by Mr. Glassman (1918 N. 32nd St).
First at 725 Lombard St. Moved to larger location at 418 Lombard St. - former Universal Church. Combined with Anshe Rodeph Zedek in 1893 to form, Congregation Kesher Israel.
