History
Began in Oak Lane above a five & dime on Ogontz, near 69th Ave. Leased a building at 6827 York Road in 1933 until building and dedication of synagogue on N. Broad in 1939. Chartered as The Liberal Congregation Temple Judea. Reform orientation. Rabbi Meir Lasker was an early Reform Zionist sympathizer. Combined with Keneseth Israel in 1982
