Non-payment of taxes closed this synagogue during the Depression.

Former members of Emanu-El who wanted to keep a neighborhood synagogue in Oak Lane. Rented quarters at 5604 N.13th St. Combined with B'nai Joseph to build a synagogue at 5701 N.13th St.
