History
Founded by children of members at Beth Elohim (Woodland Ave.) Could be same as Beth Am Israel (Warrington).
Beth Abraham merged into Beth Ami in the 1960's.
Bustleton Congregation formed in 1955. First met in people's homes and became Conservative. Purchased land at 9200 Bustleton Ave. Held services in tent until construction was done. Synagogue dedicated in 1963 as Temple Beth Am. For several years employed a blind cantor.
